Peter II (1727-1730)
#390572 1728, WM medal by P.P. Werner, probably cast, on Death of Grand Duchess Natalia Alexeyevna. The original were struck in silver and gold and are very rare and even though it is a copy, the mold was taken from the original and execution is very detailed and accurate. I am having difficulties in figuring out the way it was made. In any case, even as it is, it is deserving of the place in collection and the price. The original medal in silver is Diakov 67 (R3), Reichel 1653(R3), 43mm in diameter, XF
