After the original model by Bertel Thorvaldsen marble reliefs titled "Night" and "Day' which hang opposite each other in the Thorvaldsen Museum in Copenhagen, Denmark. They are 152 mm in diameter and 10 mm thick, impressed ENERET and carry Royal Copenhagen, Denmark, hallmarks, have brass chains for hanging on the wall. A bit of glue residue on the backs. Very good condition

After the original model by Bertel Thorvaldsen marble reliefs titled "Night" and "Day' which hang opposite each other in the Thorvaldsen Museum in Copenhagen, Denmark. "Night personified floats passively over the sky with her neck bent and eyes closed as are the eyes of the children in her embrace. Her hair is braided with poppies, with their sleep inducing capacities known since antiquity". It is Ø226mm and has dark background. Impressed P. Ipsen / KjØbenhavn / Eneret / 392 in 4 lines, 1 tiny chip on edge on front and one on the back
