BARBARIC IMITATIONS FROM CENTRAL RUSSIA Recent studies in Russia determined, that there are some coins of lesser weight and silver standard, as well as, of sometimes cruder design that imitate mostly, but not exclusively, a wide range of pre-reform 15th century coinage. They date form the mid to second half of 15th century and really most likely much scarcer than the prototype coins. | ||
